When you stop sharing your fantasies with your partner, you gradually stop sharing everything else.
That is what Rebecca feels, after years of a humdrum relationship with a highschool teacher. In an attempt to shake off boredom and routine, she breaks up with him and moves into a small apartment where she will find the solitude she yearns for and something more... She happens to listen to some voice mail messages addressed to the previous owner of the phone line: a drug addict who receives insistent phone calls from two friends, a man and a woman.
Rebecca begins an ambiguous and peculiar emotional relationship with them that fulfils her most secret wishes and steers her life in a new direction.

Casualmetnte escucha unos mensajes dirigidos al antiguo abonado de la línea telefónica, un adicto a las drogas que recibe con insistencia las llamadas de dos amigos, un hombre y una mujer. Con ellos, Rebeca establece una ambigua relación emocional, que colma sus más recónditos deseos y marca un nuevo rumbo en su vida.
