The reason why I don’t dread Mondays

Because I work for myself, Mondays have always felt like a day filled with possibility. I don’t dread the day and I also don’t count the days until the weekend. This has been so for my entire life. Is it completely stress-free and all perfect? No, of course not, but I would not have it any other way.

Too many people seem to dread Mondays, and they certainly life for Friday evenings. From a young age, any day of the week, including Monday, is a good day. Here's why.
I love working from my couch

I love working from home and although I have an office that I share with my husband, I prefer to work from the couch, sitting at the dining room table, even propped up in bed, and when the weather permits, in the backyard.

I have never had a problem with self-discipline and getting stuff done (courtesy of an obsessive-compulsive and addictive personality). As memberships for yoga studios and gyms are getting more and more expensive, I increasingly work out from home. I aso don’t have an issue with that.

I feel super fortunate on both counts (work and working out) because I know most people struggle with motivation. Is that you? What gets in the way of you accomplishing your goals? I’m honestly curious, because then maybe I can create content that helps you do just that.

Is this for everyone? Probably not. I don’t mind working by myself, in fact I’m more efficient and productive on my own. I can work with a team, but I like to physically be removed from it so less time is wasted.

Are you self-motivated or do you struggle with that? What would you like to know about someone who is not only able to but prefers to work from home?
